After a wild championship weekend, the College Football Playoff Committee officially announced the four teams who will be competing for the National Championship.

To nobodies surprise, Georgia and Michigan, the final two undefeated teams, were given the top two spots.

Many people believed that TCU and Ohio State would be the final two teams in the playoff, but the biggest question was surrounding who would be the No. 3 seed and face the Wolverines. While a Big Ten rematch was on the table, the committee decided to give the TCU Horned Frogs the No. 3 spot which sets up an intriguing matchup with Michigan.

That left Ohio State in the No. 4 spot, who can thank Utah for the opportunity as the Utes Pac-12 Championship Game upset over USC effectively ended the Trojans hopes of a playoff spot. This will be the sixth straight year that the playoff won't have a Pac-12 respresentative.

No. 1 Georgia will now have a fairly tough matchup in Ohio State in the semi-final, a matchup that a lot of people thought was going to be a National Championship meeting early in the season.

Let's take a look at the odds for each semi-final game.
