Best NRFI and YRFI bets today (Strong trends through 10 games)
We’re not quite two weeks into the season, but every team has played about 10 games and that means we’re starting to get a useful sample size for bets like No Run First Inning and Yes Run First Inning. I’m using these trends and stats to give you the best NRFI and YRFI bets for the MLB slate today.
We have 15 games on the schedule tonight, so we have a lot to work with on a Tuesday night as far as our betting ticket goes. Here are my favorite NRFI and YRFI picks.
Best NRFI bets today
Brewers vs. Diamondbacks -125
Corbin Burnes is on the mound for Milwaukee and while he’s given up 10 earned runs through his first two starts, he’s going to turn it around eventually. More importantly, Merril Kelly who’s starting for Arizona gets to face the worst first inning offense in baseball this year. The Brewers are scoring 0.20 runs per first inning this year which is tied for dead last in the MLB.
Best YRFI bets today
Reds vs. Braves -128
Luis Cessa is starting for Cincinnati and Kyle Wright is going for Atlanta, but this bet is all about the two lineups. The Dodgers are No. 1 in first innings runs per game, 1.36, but Cincy is second at an even 1.00 and Atlanta is tied for third scoring 0.82 first inning runs per game. It’s obviously a smaller sample, but at about 10 games in this is a strong trend, so let’s back it.
