Thunder vs. Pelicans NBA same game parlay picks today (Back Brandon Ingram)
The New Orleans Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder are in a win-or-go-home situation on Wednesday night in the NBA’s Play-In Tournament.
There are several ways to wager on this game, and I am personally betting on the Thunder to cover the spread, but I have a parlay I put together as well.
Let’s break down the picks:
Best same-game parlay picks for Thunder vs. Pelicans
- Oklahoma City Thunder +5.5
- Brandon Ingram 35+ Points, Rebounds and Assists
- Jalen Williams 12+ Points
- C.J. McCollum 2+ 3-Pointers
This same-game parlay pays out at +235 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook!
Oklahoma City Thunder +5.5
OKC is an impressive 19-11-3 ATS as a road dog this season, losing those games by an average margin of just 3.5 points.
The Thunder won just one of the regular season matchups between these teams, but each of their three losses were by four points or less.
This team is undervalued against the Pelicans, who still don’t have Zion Williamson back from a hamstring injury.
Brandon Ingram 35+ Points, Rebounds and Assists
Brandon Ingram has picked up the slack for the Pelicans over the final stretch of the season, averaging 28.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game over his last 14 games.
Ingram has at least 35 points, rebounds and assists in 12 of those 14 games, so I don’t mind taking this alternate line for him in such a big game.
Ingram should play plenty of minutes and run the offense on Wednesday.
Jalen Williams 12+ Points
Thunder rookie sensation Jalen Williams is averaging 14.1 points per game on the season, and he closed the 2022-23 regular season strong, scoring 12 or more points in 12 of his last 15 games.
Over that stretch, Williams averaged 17.4 points per game while shooting 52.4 percent from the field.
He should be a vital part of the OKC offense tonight.
CJ McCollum 2+ 3-Pointers
CJ McCollum is the veteran leader for the Pelicans team, and he’s shot the ball well since the start of March.
In 20 games since March 1, McCollum is averaging 2.9 made 3-pointers per game while shooting 42.3 percent from beyond the arc. He’s only failed to hit two or more 3s in six of those 20 games.
OKC plays at a fast pace, which should lead to a ton of possessions on both sides. I expect McCollum to step up and take advantage of that tonight.
