DFS Fantasy Hockey Advice: Forwards to Start
David Pastrnak (BOS) vs. TOR
Pastrnak has been absolutely on fire for the past two weeks having five multi-point game performances dating back to October 8.
Pastrnak
was also awarded the number one star of the week after producing seven goals and two assists in his previous three games played.
The Maple Leafs’ goaltending has had a hard time keeping the puck out of the net this year as they have allowed the fifth-most goals to opposing teams (3.44/gm).
Pastrnak
is a no-brainer to start on practically any given night of the year, but this outlandish streak he has recently been on makes him even more valuable to have on rosters for tonight.
Nick Schmaltz (ARI) @ NYR
Schmaltz has looked quite impressive lately as he has produced six points in his last three games played with the Coyotes. Arizona appears to be a young team on the rise and
Schmaltz
is a major component for the team moving forward.
The Rangers will be hosting the desert dogs on Tuesday night which is a great sign for the young forward to have a strong performance.
New York is currently riding a four-game losing streak while allowing 4.25 goals per game during that stretch of action. Plug him into your starting lineups for Tuesday’s slate of games with confidence that he will produce in a positive way yet again.
Adam Henrique (ANA) @ NSH
The Anaheim Ducks have improved quite a bit from where they were just several months ago. It appears a lot of the young players are stepping up in a big way for the Ducks which has resulted in their early-season success so far.
More importantly, some veteran players have also been leading the way in a significant fashion as well. I’m speaking predominantly of
Adam Henrique
. The 29-year old forward has been solid lately as he has buried four goals in his last five games played.
His experience in big-time moments is certainly becoming contagious in the Anaheim locker room.
Henrique
is a great option to go to in your starting lineup as the Ducks will travel to the Music City to take on the Nashville Predators.

DFS Fantasy Hockey Advice: Defensemen to Start

John Carlson (WSH) @ CGY

Carlson is by far the hottest defenseman in the NHL this season. Since the start of the 2019-20 campaign, he has produced a point in all but one game that he has played in. He has also had six multi-point games in this span and possesses a plus-six rating on the year.

The Calgary Flames are a middling offense and have not been as electric as some thought they would be considering the amount of firepower the team has in their artillery. With <a href=https://fansided.com/2019/10/22/dfs-fantasy-hockey-advice-10-22-19/"https://www.rotoworld.com/hockey/nhl/player/24371/john-carlson">Carlson’s strong start on both the offensive and defensive sides of the puck, he’s a lock to start in fantasy lineups until further notice.

Brian Dumoulin (PIT) @ FLA

If you are looking for a solid defenseman to start up Tuesday night, then <a href=https://fansided.com/2019/10/22/dfs-fantasy-hockey-advice-10-22-19/"https://www.rotoworld.com/hockey/nhl/player/25465/brian-dumoulin">Dumoulin
is your man. He may not be the flashiest defenseman in terms of offensive production, but he makes up for it with his ability to shut defenses down.

Over the course of his last four games played, Dumoulin has maintained a plus-eight rating which is second to Ian Cole. The Florida Panthers have been average at best in terms of scoring production this year, so <a href=https://fansided.com/2019/10/22/dfs-fantasy-hockey-advice-10-22-19/"https://www.fantasypros.com/nhl/players/brian-dumoulin.php">Dumoulin
could very well once again have a fairly strong outing on the rink for the Pens.

Alexander Edler (VAN) @ DET

While Edler’s plus/minus rating may not be the most spectacular so far this season (-1), he still has shown he can contribute to Vancouver’s offense often. The Red Wings are still a young inexperienced team with a lot of holes to fill.

With that being said, <a href=https://fansided.com/2019/10/22/dfs-fantasy-hockey-advice-10-22-19/"https://www.rotoworld.com/hockey/nhl/player/23940/alexander-edler">Edler
stands to have a good chance of performing at a high-level Tuesday evening on the road in Detroit. He should be a solid option on the back-end of your lineups tonight if you have him on your roster.

DFS Fantasy Hockey Advice: Goalies to Start

Marc-Andre Fleury (VGK) @ CHI

Fleury is doing it again as he is currently leading the league in wins (6), while also owning a 2.18 GAA and a 0.934 SV%. The Vegas Golden Knights will be traveling to the Windy City to take on <a href=https://fansided.com/2019/10/22/dfs-fantasy-hockey-advice-10-22-19/"https://www.rotoworld.com/hockey/nhl/player/23903/jonathan-toews">Jonathan Toews and the Chicago Blackhawks this Tuesday night.

Chicago may have a lot of star-power when it comes to offense, but they have failed to showcase that talent up to this point in the season as they are averaging three goals per game. <a href=https://fansided.com/2019/10/22/dfs-fantasy-hockey-advice-10-22-19/"https://www.rotoworld.com/hockey/nhl/player/23399/marc-andre-fleury">Fleury
looks to be in line for another sturdy performance in the crease.

Carter Hutton (BUF) vs. SJS

Hutton is one of the pleasant surprises of the 2019 season. The Buffalo starting netminder has maintained a perfect 5-0-0 record, while also possessing a thin 1.39 GAA and an incredible 0.953 SV%.

The Sabres will now welcome to town the San Jose Sharks who have had a tough time finding any sort of scoring rhythm this year. If <a href=https://fansided.com/2019/10/22/dfs-fantasy-hockey-advice-10-22-19/"https://www.rotoworld.com/hockey/nhl/player/24707/carter-hutton">Hutton
is announced as the team’s starting goalie for Tuesday night, then start him without hesitation for Tuesday night’s action if you have him on your rosters. If he sits, the <a href=https://fansided.com/2019/10/22/dfs-fantasy-hockey-advice-10-22-19/"https://www.rotoworld.com/hockey/nhl/player/25647/linus-ullmark">Linus Ullmark is not a bad option to turn to either.

John Gibson (ANA) vs. NSH

Gibson continues to look very sharp as he has an incredible 1.88 GAA through seven starts this season. He has been one of the main reasons for Anaheim’s early-season success up to this point.

Now he will take on the Nashville Predators and while this may seem like a bit of a daunting task, <a href=https://fansided.com/2019/10/22/dfs-fantasy-hockey-advice-10-22-19/"https://www.rotoworld.com/hockey/nhl/player/25232/john-gibson">Gibson
has not shown us any signs he can’t compete with even the best offenses in the league. Gibson should be an immediate start in all formats on Tuesday night.
<!—pageview_candidate—>">
