This NBA Play-In Tournament OVER/UNDER trend has been extremely profitable
The NBA’s Play-In Tournament continues on Wednesday night with the No. 9 vs. No. 10 matchups in each conference, but bettors may not even want to focus on who is going to win the game.
Over the last two seasons, the UNDER is 8-0 in the play-in games, and it is 11-3 overall since the inception of the play-in tournament.
That’s a crazy trend, and there were two low-scoring games on Tuesday night with the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves combining for just 210 points and the Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks combining for 221.
Tonight, the Chicago Bulls take on the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference and the New Orleans Pelicans host the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference.
Here are the odds for each game:
Bulls vs. Raptors odds, spread and over/under
This is an interesting matchup since Toronto is one of the best OVER teams (46-36) in the NBA while the Bulls are one of the best UNDER teams (45-37 on UNDERs) this season.
Two of the three meetings between these teams in the 2022-23 campaign. have fallen short of tonight’s total.
Pelicans vs. Thunder odds, spread and over/under
The total is slightly higher in the Pelicans-Thunder matchup, but it’s worth noting that these teams have fallen short of this number in three of their four meetings this season.
The only game that went OVER was an overtime win for New Orleans, 128-125.
At some point this trend is going to let up, but bettors may want to ride it while it’s hot the past two seasons.
