Best MLB prop bets today (Julio Urias to go over strikeout total)

We have a great slate of MLB games to watch and bet on tonight, and as always, I have slate of prop bets to give out for tonight’s action.

Two strikeout props and my favorite home run prop are locked in.

Let’s dive into them.

MLB prop bets for Monday, April 10th

• Mike Trout to hit home run (+300)
• Wade Miley UNDER 3.5 strikeouts (-150)
• Julio Urias OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-140)

Mike Trout to hit home run (+300)

Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels get to take on the Washington Nationals, who will be starting Patrick Corbin, who has been one of the worst starting pitchers in baseball over the past few years.

Corbin has already allowed two homers this season and Trout has already hit three dingers. As my long shot prop of the day, I’ll back Trout to hit a fourth dinger tonight against the Nationals lowly pitchers.

Wade Miley UNDER 3.5 strikeouts (-150)

Wade Miley recorded only three strikeouts in his first start of the season, and now he has to take on a Diamondbacks team that’s inside the top six in the Majors in strikeout rate. Arizona strikes out on only 19.4% of its plate appearances.

Miley had one start against the Diamondbacks last season, and recorded only three strikeouts in six innings. I think we’re safe to bet UNDER his strikeout total tonight.

Julio Urias OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-140)

Julio Urias has gone over this total in each of his first two starts, racking up 12 strikeouts in 12 innings pitched. Now, he and the Dodgers get to take on the worst strikeout team in Major League Baseball.

The Giants are dead last in strikeout rate, striking out on 28.6% of their plate appearances. I think Urias has a chance to soar over this total tonight.
